Unplug the dryer or turn off the gas supply
Remove the lint screen
Clean lint from the lint screen
Wash the lint screen with warm water and mild soap if needed
Dry the lint screen completely
Vacuum the lint trap housing
Empty the dryer drum
Wipe the drum with a damp microfiber cloth
Clean the door and door seal
Wipe the exterior surfaces
Clean the moisture sensors inside the drum with rubbing alcohol
Check and clean the vent hose
Remove lint buildup from the vent opening
Clean the exhaust vent and duct
Reattach all parts securely
Plug the dryer back in or restore gas supply
Run an empty cycle to confirm proper operation
