Unplug the CPAP machine
Disconnect the tubing from the machine and mask
Wash your hands
Fill a clean sink or basin with warm water and mild, fragrance-free soap
Submerge the tubing in the soapy water
Swish the water through the tubing
Rinse the tubing thoroughly with clean water
Shake out excess water from both ends
Hang the tubing to air-dry completely
Reconnect the tubing only when fully dry
Clean the tubing regularly according to the manufacturer’s instructions
Replace the tubing if it becomes cracked, discolored, or damaged
