Wash the cloth by hand in warm water with a small amount of mild, fragrance-free detergent
Gently rub the fabric to remove oils, dust, and residue
Rinse thoroughly until all soap is gone
Avoid bleach, fabric softener, and harsh cleaners
Let the cloth air dry completely
Wash separately from lint-producing fabrics
Clean it regularly to prevent buildup
Replace the cloth if it becomes worn, rough, or no longer cleans well
