Turn off and unplug the washer
Remove all laundry from the drum
Wipe the door, gasket, and glass with a soft damp cloth
Clean lint, hair, and debris from the door seal folds
Remove and rinse the detergent dispenser drawer
Clean the dispenser cavity with a soft brush or cloth
Run the Tub Clean cycle if your model has one
Add a washer cleaner or liquid chlorine bleach only if allowed by your model manual
Run a hot wash cycle with an empty drum if Tub Clean is not available
Clean the drain pump filter if your model has one
Check and clean the inlet screens on the water hoses if needed
Leave the door open after use to let the drum dry
Wipe the exterior with a soft cloth and mild cleaner
Repeat cleaning regularly to prevent odor and buildup
