Put on gloves
Gather a litter scoop, trash bag, and mild soap
Remove clumps and solid waste daily
Dump waste into a sealed trash bag
Scrape stuck litter from the box
Empty all litter if doing a full clean
Wash the box with warm water and mild soap
Rinse thoroughly
Dry completely before refilling
Add fresh litter to the proper depth
Place the box back in its usual spot
Wash your hands after cleaning
Clean the litter box regularly
