Let the moka pot cool completely
Disassemble the pot
Discard the used coffee grounds
Rinse each part with warm water
Wash the parts with a soft sponge or cloth
Clean the filter basket and funnel carefully
Rinse all parts thoroughly
Dry each part completely with a towel or air dry
Reassemble the moka pot only when fully dry
Clean the gasket and safety valve regularly
Avoid using soap if possible
Avoid abrasive scrubbers or harsh cleaners
Remove mineral buildup with a vinegar and water rinse if needed
Store the moka pot dry and open after cleaning
