Wear gloves and work in a well-ventilated area

Repeat scraping and wiping until residue is gone
Use a non-abrasive pad for stubborn spots
Clean the surface with soap and water
Dry the area completely
Test any solvent on a small hidden area first
Avoid using metal tools on delicate surfaces
