Turn off and unplug the piano if it is electronic
Wash and dry your hands before cleaning
Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to remove dust
Lightly dampen a cloth with water for stubborn dirt
Wipe each key gently from back to front
Use a separate cloth for white keys and black keys
Avoid spraying liquid directly on the keys
Avoid harsh chemicals, alcohol, bleach, or abrasive cleaners
Dry the keys immediately with a clean soft cloth
Clean between keys with a soft, dry cotton swab if needed
Keep moisture away from the key edges and openings
Test any cleaner on a small hidden area first
Clean regularly to prevent buildup
