Turn off the fan and unplug it from the power source
Remove the front grille or cover if it is detachable
Take off the fan blades if possible
Use a dry cloth or vacuum to remove loose dust
Wipe the blades, grille, and outer surface with a damp cloth
Use mild soap and water for stubborn dirt if needed
Dry all parts completely before reassembling
Reattach the blades and grille securely
Plug the fan back in and test it
