Turn off the Dyson and unplug it from the power source
Remove the filter from the machine
Tap the filter gently to remove loose dust and debris
Rinse the filter under cold running water
Continue rinsing until the water runs clear
Do not use detergent, soap, or hot water
Shake off excess water
Leave the filter to dry completely for at least 24 hours
Reinstall the filter only when it is fully dry
Reset the machine if needed after cleaning the filter
