Check the care label and confirm the boots are genuine suede or sheepskin
Remove loose dirt with a soft suede brush
Stuff the boots with paper towels or clean paper to help them keep their shape
Mix a small amount of mild detergent or UGG cleaner with cool water
Dampen a clean cloth with the solution and gently wipe the outside
Do not soak the boots
For stains, lightly rub the area with a suede eraser or clean pencil eraser
Brush the suede again after cleaning to restore the nap
Clean the inside with a damp cloth and a small amount of mild detergent if needed
Wipe away soap residue with a clean damp cloth
Let the boots air-dry naturally away from direct heat and sunlight
Replace the paper stuffing if it becomes wet
Once dry, brush the boots again to refresh the texture
Apply a suede protector spray if desired
Avoid machine washing, tumble drying, and direct heat sources
