Sweep or vacuum the floor thoroughly to remove loose dirt and grit
Mix warm water with a small amount of laminate-safe cleaner or a few drops of mild dish soap
Dampen a microfiber mop with the solution; do not soak it
Mop the floor in small sections
Rinse the mop often and change the water when it gets dirty
Use a soft cloth to scrub stubborn spots gently
For stuck-on grime, apply a little cleaner to the spot and wipe after a few minutes
Dry the floor immediately with a clean microfiber cloth
Avoid excess water, steam mops, abrasive scrubbers, bleach, and wax-based products
Repeat as needed until the floor is clean
