Choose a cloudy day or clean windows out of direct sunlight
Remove dust, dirt, and cobwebs from the frame and glass first
Mix warm water with a small amount of dish soap or use a vinegar-and-water solution
Use a microfiber cloth, sponge, or soft scrubber to wash the glass
Wipe from top to bottom in overlapping strokes
Use a squeegee and wipe the blade after each pass
Dry edges and corners with a clean, lint-free microfiber cloth
Replace dirty water as needed
Avoid paper towels, old rags, and abrasive cleaners
Clean both sides of the window for the best result
Finish by buffing any remaining spots with a dry microfiber cloth
