Log in to the issuer’s FASTag portal or mobile app
Go to the FASTag account, service, or closure section
Raise a closure request for the FASTag account
Ensure all pending toll charges, penalties, and dues are cleared
Remove or deactivate the FASTag from the vehicle if required by the issuer
Return the FASTag tag, if the issuer asks for it
Submit any required documents, such as ID proof and vehicle details
Wait for confirmation of account closure from the issuer
Check that the FASTag balance is refunded, if applicable
Keep the closure confirmation or reference number for records
