Carry a valid photo ID and PAN card
Fill the account closure request form
Withdraw or transfer the remaining balance
Surrender unused cheque books, debit cards, and passbook if applicable
Clear all pending charges, loans, or linked services
Submit the closure form and required documents to the bank official
Collect the acknowledgment receipt
Wait for confirmation from the bank that the account has been closed
