Log in to the EPFO Unified Member Portal using your UAN and password
Make sure your Aadhaar, PAN, and bank details are seeded and verified
Go to the Online Services section
Select Claim
Choose Form 19 for final PF settlement
Choose Form 10C if you need pension withdrawal benefits
Choose Form 31 only for partial PF advance, not final closure
Verify your personal details and bank account
Select the reason for claim, such as retirement, resignation, or unemployment
Enter your address and contact details if required
Submit the claim using OTP verification
Track the claim status in the portal
Wait for EPFO approval and credit of the settlement amount to your bank account
If your UAN is not active or details are not updated, complete KYC and profile updates first
If your employer approval is required, ensure your exit date is updated in the portal
For full account closure after leaving a job, use the final settlement claim instead of trying to delete the PF account
Contact EPFO or your employer if the claim is rejected or pending for too long
