Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause in the middle
On iPhone with a Home button, double-press the Home button
Find the app you want to close
Swipe the app card up off the screen
Repeat for any other apps you want to close
Tap the screen or swipe up to return to the Home screen or app view
