Connect the router to the modem and power it on
Connect a computer or phone to the router using Wi-Fi or an Ethernet cable
Open a web browser
Enter the router’s IP address in the address bar
Log in with the router’s admin username and password
Change the default admin password
Set the Wi-Fi network name
Set the Wi-Fi password
Choose the wireless security type
Configure the internet connection settings from your ISP
Save the settings
Reboot the router if required
Update the router firmware
Test the internet connection
Disconnect and reconnect devices to the new Wi-Fi network
