Open Bluetooth settings on your iPhone, iPad, Mac, or other device
Turn on Bluetooth
Put the AirPods in their case and open the lid near the device
Wait for the setup prompt to appear on the screen
Tap Connect
If the prompt does not appear, keep the AirPods case open near the device for a few seconds
Make sure the AirPods are charged
Make sure the device is updated and Bluetooth is working
If already paired before, select AirPods from the Bluetooth device list
If needed, reset network or Bluetooth settings on the device and try again
