Open the Find My app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac
Tap Devices
Select your AirPods
Check the map for the last known location
Play a sound if the AirPod is nearby
Use Find Nearby if your model supports it
Search the area where the AirPod was last connected
Check common places like bags, pockets, car seats, and couch cushions
Look for the AirPod case if the missing AirPod is in the case
Retrace your steps from the last known location
Check whether the AirPod battery is still connected in Find My
Mark the AirPods as Lost if the option is available
Enable notifications for when the AirPods are found
Ask nearby people if they saw it
Contact Apple Support if you still cannot find it
