Turn on your PC
Turn on the Xbox controller
Connect the controller with a USB cable
Or press the Xbox button on the controller
Open Windows Bluetooth settings
Turn on Bluetooth on your PC
Press and hold the controller’s Pair button until the Xbox light flashes
Select the controller from the Bluetooth device list
Wait for the connection to complete
Test the controller in a game or the Windows Game Controllers settings
