Turn on the Apple Mouse
Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your MacBook
Open System Settings
Click Bluetooth
Put the Apple Mouse in pairing mode
Select the mouse from the list of nearby devices
Click Connect
Wait for the mouse to pair
Test the mouse movement and clicks
If needed, charge or replace the mouse battery and try again
