Install the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app on your phone
Turn on the Canon inkjet printer and make sure it is connected to Wi-Fi
Connect your phone to the same Wi-Fi network as the printer
Open the Canon PRINT app
Tap Add Printer or the printer setup option
Select your Canon printer from the list
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete pairing
Open the app’s scan function
Place the document on the scanner glass or in the feeder
Tap Scan on the phone
Save or share the scanned file from the app
If Wi-Fi is unavailable, connect the printer and phone using Wi-Fi Direct or Canon’s wireless setup option
If needed, enable Bluetooth or location permissions for the app
Update the printer firmware and app if the printer is not detected
