Turn on the Canon printer
Make sure the WiFi router is on and working
Place the printer near the router
Press the Menu or Settings button on the printer
Select Wireless LAN setup or WiFi setup
Choose your WiFi network name
Enter the WiFi password
Confirm the connection
Wait for the printer to connect
Print a network status page if available
Install the Canon printer software on your computer or phone
Add the printer in your device’s printer settings
Select the connected Canon printer
Test by printing a page
