Check whether your display device has an HDMI port
Turn off the laptop and the display device
Plug one end of the HDMI cable into the laptop’s HDMI port
Plug the other end of the HDMI cable into the display device’s HDMI port
Turn on the display device
Turn on the laptop
Select the correct HDMI input on the display device
Adjust display settings on the laptop if needed
Disconnect the cable by gently pulling it out when finished
