Check that your HP Envy laptop supports pen input
Make sure the HP Envy Pen has a charged battery or fresh battery
Turn on the pen if it has a power switch
Enable Bluetooth on the laptop if the pen requires pairing
Press and hold the pen’s pairing button until the LED starts blinking
Open Bluetooth settings on the laptop
Select Add device or Pair new device
Choose the HP Envy Pen from the list of available devices
Confirm the pairing code if prompted
Test the pen on the touchscreen or in a note-taking app
Replace the pen tip or battery if the pen does not respond
Restart the laptop and try pairing again if needed
