Turn on the keyboard
Put the keyboard in pairing mode
Open Settings on the iPad
Tap Bluetooth
Turn Bluetooth on
Select the keyboard from the list of devices
Enter the pairing code if prompted
Wait for the keyboard to connect
Test the keyboard in a text field
Reconnect by turning the keyboard on when needed
