Use a USB or USB-C cable to connect the iPhone to the Mac
Unlock the iPhone
Tap Trust on the iPhone if prompted
Enter the iPhone passcode if prompted
Open Finder on the Mac
Select the iPhone in the Finder sidebar
Use the General, Music, Movies, TV Shows, Podcasts, Audiobooks, Files, and Photos tabs as needed
Click Sync or Apply if you want to transfer data
Use AirDrop to connect wirelessly
Turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on both devices
Open Finder on the Mac
Select AirDrop from the Finder sidebar
Set AirDrop visibility as needed
Open Control Center on the iPhone
Tap AirDrop and choose Contacts Only or Everyone for 10 Minutes
Use iCloud to keep content synced between iPhone and Mac
Sign in with the same Apple ID on both devices
Turn on iCloud sync for the apps and data you want
Use Continuity features if needed
Enable Handoff, Calls on Other Devices, and Text Message Forwarding in settings
