Turn on the mouse
Put the mouse in pairing mode
Open System Settings on your Mac
Click Bluetooth
Make sure Bluetooth is turned on
Select the mouse from the list of devices
Click Connect
If prompted, confirm the pairing
For a wired mouse, plug it into a USB or USB-C port
Wait for the Mac to recognize the mouse
Test the mouse movement and clicks
