Turn on your Xbox controller
Press and hold the Pair button on the controller until the Xbox button flashes
On your PC, open Settings
Go to Bluetooth & devices
Turn on Bluetooth
Click Add device
Select Bluetooth
Choose your Xbox controller from the list
Wait for it to connect
Plug the controller into your PC with a USB cable
Wait for Windows to detect and install it
If your controller supports Xbox Wireless, plug in an Xbox Wireless Adapter
Press the Pair button on the adapter
Press and hold the Pair button on the controller
Wait for the connection to complete
