Insert fresh batteries into the remote
Turn on the TV manually
Stand within 3 to 10 feet of the TV
Point the remote directly at the TV sensor
Press and hold the Return and Play/Pause buttons together for 3 to 5 seconds
Release the buttons when the TV shows a pairing message or the remote light blinks
If that does not work, press and hold the Pairing button on the remote if it has one
If the remote is infrared only, no pairing is needed
Remove any objects blocking the TV sensor
Replace the batteries if the remote still does not respond
Restart the TV and try again
