Keep boudin refrigerated until ready to cook
Remove from packaging
Do not pierce the casing unless needed to prevent bursting
Boil water in a pot
Reduce to a gentle simmer
Add boudin
Simmer for 10 to 15 minutes
Turn occasionally for even heating
Remove with tongs
Drain briefly
Serve hot
Preheat oven to 350°F
Place boudin on a baking sheet
Lightly brush with oil if desired
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes
Turn once halfway through
Remove when heated through
Preheat grill to medium heat
Place boudin over indirect heat
Grill for 10 to 15 minutes
Turn frequently
Move away from direct flames if casing starts to split
Remove when heated through
Heat a skillet over medium-low heat
Add a small amount of oil or butter
Cook boudin for 8 to 12 minutes
Turn often
Remove when hot throughout
Check that the internal temperature reaches 160°F
Let rest for a few minutes before serving
