Pat the chicken legs dry with paper towels

Oil the grill grates lightly to prevent sticking
Place the chicken legs on the grill over indirect heat
Close the lid and cook for 20 to 25 minutes
Turn the chicken legs every 5 to 7 minutes for even cooking
Move the chicken legs over direct heat during the last 5 to 10 minutes to crisp the skin
Grill until the internal temperature reaches 165°F to 175°F
Remove the chicken legs from the grill
Let the chicken rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving
