How To Cook Cod In A Pan?

Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels

Season both sides with salt and pepper

Heat a skillet over medium heat

Add oil or butter to the pan

Place the cod in the pan skin-side down if it has skin

Cook for 3 to 4 minutes without moving it

Flip the cod carefully

Cook for another 2 to 4 minutes until opaque and flaky

Remove from the pan

Serve immediately
