How To Cook Walleye?

Rinse the walleye fillets and pat them dry

Remove any remaining bones

Season with salt, pepper, and optional garlic powder or paprika

Heat a skillet over medium heat

Add butter or oil to the skillet

Place the fillets in the skillet skin-side down if skin is on

Cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side, depending on thickness

Flip carefully once the first side is golden

Cook until the fish flakes easily with a fork

Remove from heat and serve immediately

Serve with lemon wedges if desired
