Pat pork chops dry and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika
Optional: sear pork chops in a skillet for 2 to 3 minutes per side
Place sliced onions, garlic, or potatoes in the bottom of the crock pot if desired
Add pork chops to the crock pot in a single layer
Pour in 1/2 to 1 cup of broth, cream soup, gravy, or sauce
Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours or on high for 2 to 3 hours
Cook until pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145°F
Avoid overcooking to prevent dry pork chops
Remove pork chops and let rest for a few minutes before serving
Spoon sauce from the crock pot over the pork chops before serving
