Pat salmon fillets dry
Brush or spray lightly with oil
Season with salt, pepper, and any desired spices
Place salmon skin-side down in the air fryer basket
Leave space between fillets
Air fry for 7 to 10 minutes, depending on thickness
Check for doneness with a fork or thermometer
Remove when salmon flakes easily or reaches 145°F internally
Let rest for 2 minutes before serving
