Choose your hot dogs and buns.

Place hot dogs in the simmering water.
Heat for 5–7 minutes, or until hot throughout.
Optional: Grill for 2–4 minutes, turning often, until browned.
Optional: Pan-fry in a skillet over medium heat for 4–6 minutes, turning often.
Optional: Microwave on a microwave-safe plate for 30–60 seconds, turning once.
Warm the buns by toasting or heating for 30–60 seconds.
Slice buns and place hot dogs inside.
Add desired toppings (mustard, ketchup, relish, onions, cheese, chili, etc.).
Serve immediately.
