Select the text, file, or item you want to copy
Press Command + C to copy
Click where you want to paste
Press Command + V to paste
To cut instead of copy, press Command + X
To copy and paste with the trackpad, right-click or Control-click the item and choose Copy
Right-click or Control-click the destination and choose Paste
To paste without formatting, press Option + Shift + Command + V in supported apps
To copy and paste between Apple devices, use Universal Clipboard with the same Apple ID and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth enabled
