Use keyboard shortcuts:
Copy: Ctrl+C on Windows/Linux, Command+C on Mac
Paste without formatting: Ctrl+Shift+V on Windows/Linux, Command+Shift+V on Mac
Use the right-click menu and choose:
Paste as plain text
Paste without formatting
Match destination formatting
Paste into a plain text editor first:
Notepad on Windows
TextEdit in plain text mode on Mac
Then copy again and paste into the final destination
Use “Paste Special” if available:
Select Unformatted Text
Select Plain Text
Remove formatting after pasting:
Highlight the pasted text
Clear formatting using the editor’s formatting tools
Turn off rich text formatting in the destination app if possible
Use browser or app extensions that paste as plain text
On mobile devices:
Long-press and look for Paste as plain text
Use the app’s formatting options to remove styling after pasting
