Open the Kanopy video and start playback
Click the transcript or captions icon if available
Open the transcript panel
Select the transcript text with your cursor
Copy the selected text using Ctrl+C on Windows or Command+C on Mac
Paste the copied text into your document using Ctrl+V on Windows or Command+V on Mac
If the transcript cannot be selected, use browser developer tools or a transcription extension only if permitted by your institution and Kanopy’s terms
If no transcript option appears, check whether the video has captions enabled or contact your library or institution for access options
