Right-click the file, folder, app, or website
Select Create shortcut or Send to > Desktop (create shortcut)
On Windows desktop, right-click an empty area
Select New > Shortcut
Enter the item location or browse for it
Click Next
Type a shortcut name
Click Finish
On Mac, right-click the item
Select Make Alias
Drag the alias to the desired location
On mobile, open the app or item
Use the Share or Add to Home Screen option
Confirm to create the shortcut
