Open the Files, File Manager, or My Files app on your phone
Go to the location where you want the folder
Tap the menu icon or the plus icon
Select New folder
Type the folder name
Tap Create, OK, or Done
To create a folder on the home screen, press and hold an empty area
Tap Folder or New folder
Drag one app icon onto another to make a folder
Enter a folder name if prompted
Tap outside the folder to save it
