Open Gmail and sign in to your account
Click the Google Apps menu and open Google Contacts
Select the contacts you want to add to the group
Click the Labels icon
Choose Create label
Enter a group name
Click Save
To add more contacts later, select them and apply the same label
Use the label name in Gmail to email the whole group
