Sign in to Microsoft 365 with an account that has permission to create sites
Open SharePoint from the Microsoft 365 app launcher
Select Create site
Choose a site type: Team site or Communication site
Enter the site name
Set the site address
Add the site description
Choose privacy settings if creating a Team site
Select the primary owner
Add additional owners or members if needed
Review the settings
Select Finish or Create
Wait for the site to be created
Open the new site
Add pages, documents, lists, and web parts as needed
Configure site permissions and navigation if required
