Continue treatment for the full recommended time

Use clean, dry towels and do not share them
Wash socks, towels, and bedding regularly in hot water
Wear shower shoes in public locker rooms, pools, and showers
Avoid tight shoes and synthetic socks when possible
Sprinkle antifungal powder inside shoes if needed
Trim toenails and keep them clean
Disinfect shoes if reinfection keeps happening
See a healthcare professional if it does not improve after 2 to 4 weeks
Seek medical care sooner if there is severe redness, swelling, pain, pus, or diabetes
