How To Cut And Paste On A Mac Computer?

Select the text or item you want to cut or copy

Cut: Press Command (⌘) + X

Copy: Press Command (⌘) + C

Paste: Press Command (⌘) + V

Paste into a different app or location: Click where you want it, then press Command (⌘) + V

Cut/Copy/Paste using the menu: Edit → Cut / Copy / Paste

Cut/Copy/Paste using right-click (where available): Select Cut / Copy / Paste
