Gather rabbit nail clippers or small pet nail trimmers, styptic powder, and a towel
Hold the rabbit securely and calmly, wrapping the body in a towel if needed
Expose one paw at a time
Identify the quick and avoid cutting into it
Trim only the sharp tip of each nail
Cut small amounts at a time
Stop if the rabbit struggles too much and try again later
Use styptic powder if you accidentally cut the quick
Check all nails, including the dewclaws
Reward the rabbit after finishing
