Measure the wall length and mark the molding
Determine the spring angle of the crown molding
Set the miter saw to the correct angle
Set the bevel angle if needed
Place the molding upside down and against the saw fence
Cut inside corners with the proper miter direction
Cut outside corners with the opposite miter direction
Use a test piece to confirm the fit
Trim small amounts if needed for a tight joint
Sand the cut edges lightly before installation
