Select the text, file, or item
Press Ctrl + C to copy
Press Ctrl + X to cut
Press Ctrl + V to paste
Right-click the selected item
Choose Copy to duplicate it
Choose Cut to remove it for moving
Place the cursor or open the destination
Choose Paste to insert it
Use Edit menu options if available
